It all began in Burgersdorp, where the stars shone bright,

The Karoo was calm, and the timing felt right.
A wink, a kiss, a stolen glance —

With a little help, we found our chance.
She asked for his number (bold, we know),

Thought it was fake — but love said, “Go!”
The next day? A braai... with the whole family.

(Yes, we did things slightly out of the normality.)
Since that day, we’ve talked nonstop,

Through long-distance calls and pit-stop hops.
From PE back to Karoo land,

Side by side, always hand in hand.
Now here we stand, hearts open wide,

Ready to say "I do" with you by our side.
